Ingram Elementary: Rising Above the Flood

July 2025 | Ingram, Texas

When the Guadalupe River flooded in July 2025, it didn't just damage homes—it swept away the security and stability that kids need to thrive. The fourth graders at Ingram Elementary lost more than belongings; they lost their sense of normal right before a new school year.

We weren't about to let that happen.

Within a couple fo weeks, we rallied our community and filled 86 backpacks with everything those students needed to walk into their classroom with confidence. New supplies. Fresh starts. A message that said: Your community hasn't forgotten you.

86 backpacks. 86 kids who knew someone cared.

When disaster strikes, children shouldn't have to worry about having a pencil or a notebook. They should feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. That's what we delivered—not just school supplies, but hope.

This is what we do. And we can't do it without you.

Western North Carolina: Warmth When It Mattered Most

December 2024 | Western North Carolina

Hurricane Helene didn't just destroy homes—it shattered the holidays for thousands of families across Western North Carolina. As winter closed in and temperatures dropped, survivors faced an impossible choice: stay warm or keep the lights on. Parents worried about keeping their babies safe through freezing nights. Families wondered how they'd make it to spring.

We showed up with more than holiday cheer—we brought survival.

Our Christmas Extravaganza delivered portable heaters, propane, baby diapers, and warm clothing to families who'd lost everything. We made sure that when the temperature plummeted, no one had to choose between warmth and dignity. No baby went without diapers. No family huddled in the cold wondering if help was coming.

Because the holidays aren't about presents—they're about presence.

While others were decorating trees, these families were rebuilding their lives from scratch. We couldn't give them back what the hurricane took, but we could give them warmth, comfort, and the knowledge that their community—even from states away—refused to let them freeze.

When disaster doesn't wait for a convenient time, neither do we.
